Maintenance Technician

Technical Requirements & Responsibilities

• The ideal candidate must possess strong hands-on experience in the following areas:
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance, including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting.
• Performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance for machinery, production equipment, and facility systems.
• Machine and production line adjustment, alignment, calibration, and commissioning.
• Plumbing works, including the installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, valves, fittings, and water systems.
• Welding and basic fabrication activities required for equipment repair and maintenance.
• Painting and finishing works related to facility upkeep and equipment maintenance.
• Safe and effective use of hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and maintenance equipment.
• The successful candidate will also be responsible for:
• Diagnosing equipment failures promptly and implementing effective repair solutions to minimize production downtime.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Conducting routine inspections to ensure machinery and equipment operate safely, efficiently, and reliably.
• Replacing defective components, testing repaired equipment, and verifying optimal machine performance before returning it to operation.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records, work orders, inspection reports, and service logs.
• Coordinating with production and operations teams to ensure uninterrupted manufacturing activities.
• Ensuring full compliance with company policies, occupational health and safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workshop and work environment in accordance with housekeeping standards.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and preventive maintenance practices.
