Job Overview
Handle apartment-community work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and support daily property upkeep.
The role requires HVAC certification and working knowledge of routine repairs.
Education, Experience, and Licenses
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- HVAC or EPA/HVAC certification and a valid driver's license are required.
- Working knowledge of routine repairs is required.
- Two years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
- CPO Certification is a plus.
Repairs and Preventative Maintenance
- Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete service requests according to company standards.
- Restore vacant apartments to make-ready status and complete preventative maintenance.
- Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.
Buildings, Grounds, and Inventory
- Perform daily building and common-area upkeep and help keep grounds neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste.
- Maintain shop appearance to support quick assessment of supply inventory.
Additional Responsibilities
- Maintain professional relationships with residents, coworkers, company staff, vendors, and prospects.
- Participate in scheduled emergency service rotations, follow OSHA and company safety standards, and complete special projects.
Work Schedule and Availability
- The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Participation in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation and occasional resident-event support is required.
Compensation and Benefits
- The role includes hourly compensation plus monthly renewal, quarterly performance, and quarterly resident-satisfaction bonus opportunities.
