Job Overview

Handle apartment-community work orders independently, assist with preventative maintenance, and support daily property upkeep.

The role requires HVAC certification and working knowledge of routine repairs.

Education, Experience, and Licenses

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • HVAC or EPA/HVAC certification and a valid driver's license are required.
  • Working knowledge of routine repairs is required.
  • Two years of apartment maintenance experience is preferred.
  • CPO Certification is a plus.

Repairs and Preventative Maintenance

  • Diagnose and perform maintenance and repairs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Complete service requests according to company standards.
  • Restore vacant apartments to make-ready status and complete preventative maintenance.
  • Assist with pool maintenance and cleaning.

Buildings, Grounds, and Inventory

  • Perform daily building and common-area upkeep and help keep grounds neat and free of litter, debris, and pet waste.
  • Maintain shop appearance to support quick assessment of supply inventory.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Maintain professional relationships with residents, coworkers, company staff, vendors, and prospects.
  • Participate in scheduled emergency service rotations, follow OSHA and company safety standards, and complete special projects.

Work Schedule and Availability

  • The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
  • Participation in an after-hours emergency on-call rotation and occasional resident-event support is required.
