Maintenance Technician

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to OEM recommendations and company procedures.
• Conduct inspections, diagnostics, troubleshooting, repairs, and functional testing.
• Coordinate with technical teams and external OEM support to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure equipment is operational and available for daily airport operations.
• Perform pre-operational inspections before equipment is released for service.
• Maintain equipment performance and availability against operational KPIs.
• Prepare daily maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Respond to breakdowns and support emergency maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience maintaining airport ground support equipment, industrial equipment, or specialized machinery.
• Previous aviation, airport operations, or ground handling experience is highly preferred.
• Good command of written and spoken English.

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and maintenance reporting systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
