Maintenance Tech - Industrial

Job Purpose

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• · Install, troubleshoot, repair, and perform mechanical preventive maintenance on all plant equipment and machinery.
• · Metal fabrication (structural and sheet).
• · Shielded metal-arc welding.
• · Interprets detailed written instructions and procedures.
• · Prepares inventory lists, maintenance notes and other written information.
• · Oxy/acetylene cutting.
• · Interprets mechanical drawings.
• · Interprets simple electrical schematics.
• · Wood fabrication.
• · Supplies personal hand tools, vom, understands basic math (ratios, fractions and circles) and understands metric measurement.
• · Minimum 3 years directly related experience.
• · Must be able to read, understand and comply with plant and company policies and procedures, such as safety, s.o.p., s.e.p., etc. Which are all written in english.
• · Complete position requirements training for job code 690220.
• · Keep work area clean and organized throughout the shift in accordance with 5s standards.
• · Installs and repairs irrigation sprinklers.
