Responsibilities
- Respond to and process guest repair requests
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and kitchen/mechanical room equipment
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
- Perform surface preparation, painting, minor drywall and woodwork repair, replacement of light bulbs and AC filters
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing, electrical components
- Program televisions and perform general maintenance and inventory tasks related to engineering
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in general maintenance, interior and exterior surface preparation and painting
- Valid driver's license
- Hotel maintenance/engineering experience is an asset
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
