We are hiring a: Maintenance Mechanic
Hannibal, MO
Watlow is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Mechanic to help keep our manufacturing equipment and facility systems operating safely and reliably.
In this role, you will troubleshoot equipment problems, complete repairs, perform preventive maintenance, and work with production and engineering teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.
What You'Ll Do
- Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and mechanical equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, lubrication, oil changes, adjustments, and component replacements.
- Work with gears, bearings, belts, chains, pulleys, motors, pumps, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
- Use hand tools, power tools, multimeters, calipers, micrometers, and other maintenance equipment.
- Read blueprints, equipment manuals, schematics, assembly drawings, and technical documentation.
- Perform basic electrical checks involving voltage, continuity, fuses, sensors, wiring, and connections.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and help restore production safely and efficiently.
