Mechanical Services is a vital part of Simon Fraser University’s Facilities Services, responsible for maintaining the essential systems that keep our campuses running smoothly. From HVAC to plumbing, the team ensures safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. The Maintenance Mechanic performs trades duties in a variety of mechanical, fabrication, automotive and welding trades. Maintains safe working conditions, troubleshoots operating problems and mechanical failures related to building mechanical systems, and prepares for maintenance work in the assigned areas of responsibility.
