Job Summary
MOTORWAY is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to support its Engineering and Maintenance Department in Abu Dhabi.
The role coordinates maintenance activities, documentation, reporting, resources, contractors, and communication across technical and support departments.
The preferred background is maintenance engineering in an oil and gas or industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and follow up on preventive, corrective, breakdown, and planned maintenance activities.
- Monitor daily maintenance work and ensure assigned activities are completed safely and on schedule.
- Coordinate with Operations, technicians, supervisors, contractors, Procurement, and other departments.
- Review maintenance requests, work orders, equipment issues, and pending activities and ensure timely follow-up.
- Identify urgent maintenance requirements and coordinate appropriate action.
- Monitor equipment performance and support troubleshooting and corrective maintenance.
- Maintain equipment history, work orders, inspection reports, technical documentation, and maintenance records.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports and performance updates.
- Track outstanding maintenance activities and provide status updates to management.
- Support preventive-maintenance schedules and ensure activities are completed as planned.
