Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of all functional and operational activities of aircraft maintenance.
- Support and collaborate with the Site Manager to oversee daily operations and track progress toward meeting contract goals.
- Manage and guide maintenance personnel, ensuring adherence to standards, procedures, and timelines.
- Monitor aircraft statuses, track maintenance events, and oversee scheduling to maximize operational readiness.
- Utilize computerized maintenance programs (such as OOMA) to aid in maintenance control and decision-making.
- Ensure all maintenance is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable regulations, technical instructions, and NAVAIR guidelines.
Requirements
- Experience: A minimum of 8 years’ experience in the aviation maintenance field. At least 4 years’ experience in a management or supervisory position.

- Additional Qualifications: Must have been a Maintenance Controller for a minimum of 2 years with previous documented “Safe for Flight” authority on CH/MH-53E. Must have completed the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management for Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activities (OOMA) Course (C-555-0053) or both the Naval Aviation Maintenance Control Management Course (D or E-555-0040) and the Naval Aviation Officer and Senior Supervisor NALCOMIS OOMA Familiarization Course (D or E-555-0054). Must have knowledge of computerized maintenance programs (OOMA).
