FDM is seeking a Mainframe Production Support Engineer located in Montreal to support a project in the Financial Services sector. Involvement in this project is anticipated to last initially 18 months but may be extended.
This role will be hybrid with requirements to be in office 3 days per week.

About The Role

About You
Technical stack focus: DB2, JCL, VSAM, COBOL.
Immediate priorities: participate in knowledge transfer sessions and ensure BAU stability.
Location: Montreal - We welcome applications from candidates based anywhere in Canada, with preference for those able to support onsite requirements as needed.
7+ years mainframe production support
Strong expertise: IMS, DB2, COBOL
JCL, SORT, ICETOOL proficiency
Experience handling production job failures and BAU support
Deployment and implementation planning exposure
