The Magnet Program Coordinator is a registered professional nurse who provides oversight of the Magnet Program and implementation of creative systems, processes, shared decision making and clinical practices that improve patient care delivery.
include ensuring the Magnet Program framework and essential domains are enculturated and hardwired into the organization through coordination, education, and consultation with leadership.
Coordinates all aspects of the ANCC Magnet application, annual reports, and re-designation process.
The Magnet Program Coordinator will work closely with all interdisciplinary leaders and staff to manage all aspects of the ANCC Magnet application process.
It is expected that all nurses are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.
As a member of the patient services team, it is expected the individual upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals.
