We are hiring a: Machinist I

The Machinist provides support for machining operations of products and assemblies using manual and/or CNC machine tools, and performs preventive maintenance on machines, dies, molds, fixtures, and tools.

This role works under the general direction of a more experienced team member, routing complex questions to the appropriate person while building toward greater independence.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn, adheres to established procedures and best practices, and is able to work individually as well as in a team environment.

• Machine Operation: Run CNC machines, mills, drills, lathes, saws, shears, presses, punches, and drill presses.
• Manual Machining: Set up and run basic manual machines to produce parts, dies, molds, and fixtures.
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Maintain machines, sharpen tools, and troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment.
• Print Reading & Process Design: Read and interpret basic prints, draw sketches, correct prints, and design step-by-step work processes.
• Documentation: Complete process and load sheet documentation accurately and on time.
