Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of machine tools including manual lathes, surface grinders, milling machines, CNC equipment, and horizontal and vertical machining centers.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
Perform machine alignments, calibrations, and precision adjustments.
Install, test, and commission new or rebuilt equipment.
Maintain preventive maintenance schedules for shop equipment.
Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Support production teams to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Assist with equipment upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Observe Company Safety Policy and Procedures; follow and support all STS Safety Policies and ISO Procedures.
Complete and properly document all tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
Report any mechanical issues identified during inspections to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Work closely and maintain clear communication with other departments, mechanical personnel, Leadman, and Supervisors.
Complete all company-required training programs.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Technical or vocational training in machining, industrial maintenance, or related field preferred.
7–10 years’ experience maintaining machine tools or industrial equipment.
Strong knowledge of machining operations and precision measurement tools.
Experience with CNC troubleshooting preferred.
