Machine Shop Supervisor

• Associate degree in Business, Management, Manufacturing, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous leadership, supervisory, team lead, military leadership, or manufacturing management experience preferred.
• Experience working in machining, welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or a skilled trades environment required.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
• Demonstrated ability to coach employees, hold team members accountable, and professionally manage difficult conversations.
• Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams) and the ability to quickly learn manufacturing software and digital tools.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety, continuous improvement, employee development, and operational excellence.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
