Role Overview
Operate label machines properly and efficiently to meet production deadlines according to the daily job schedule.
Support label production and distribution operations while minimizing material waste and maintaining quality records.
Shift Schedule
- D Shift schedule is 1:45 AM to 8:00 AM Wednesday and 7:45 PM to 8:00 AM Thursday through Saturday.
- Overtime or work on another shift may be required as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate label machines and communicate production issues to the Production Supervisor or Facility Manager.
- Track raw materials, carton dates, and identification numbers to maintain FIFO inventory and identify quality issues.
- Use the ERP system to log time and materials for each job.
- Maintain all dies and perform distribution functions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow PPE and safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- One to two years of related experience or training required.
- Strong mechanical skills are required to analyze and operate label machine equipment.
