About the roleThe Machine Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Darra, QLD. Reporting to Operations Manager you will be operating the machines in the factory that produces Rooftiles.Operating multiple machines, fault finding and performing quality control checksMaintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S Standards in the work areaRecording data on quality sheetsConducting oil level checksResetting and starting tile machinesRefilling sand bins as needed, with relevant certificationsAssisting in other roles when necessaryEnsuring cleanliness of recycle conveyorsPerforming asset care in accordance with CSR PM Way standardsUpholding high standards of housekeepingYou will be working day shift, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 4:30pm, including 1.5 hours of overtime when the plant operates beyond the standard 8-hour shift. Occasional Saturday work (6-8 hours) may be required and will be paid as overtime.
