Machine Learning Engineer II role based in Chennai.
The position focuses on machine learning, data quality, service and repair-order data, and scalable data engineering.
Work Arrangement
- Hybrid work arrangement with four days working from the office.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and deploy ML models for data-quality anomaly detection and attribution or signal generation.
- Build and maintain ML pipelines on GCP using Vertex AI and BigQuery ML.
- Integrate ML outputs into DBT models and the DCDS data-quality scorecard.
- Champion MLOps practices such as model versioning, reproducible experiments, drift monitoring, and documented feature engineering.
- Partner with Product Owners, Analytics, and Service Engineering on ML use cases and go or no-go recommendations.
- Build scalable ETL or ELT pipelines on GCP for dealer data.
- Develop and maintain DBT models for transformation, testing, and documentation.
- Orchestrate pipelines using Astronomer and Airflow with alerting, retries, and SLA monitoring.
- Apply software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD, pair programming, TDD, documentation, and analytical problem-solving practices.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and PI Planning.
