Role Overview
The employer is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join its team in Al Khobar.
The role focuses on financial intelligence systems covering cost variance, cost forecasting, scenario analysis, and KPI variance.
The position combines quantitative data science with software engineering across the full predictive-model lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, train, and validate models for multi-horizon cost forecasting and KPI predictions.
- Apply time-series and sequential modeling to seasonal patterns, macroeconomic dependencies, and financial trends.
- Develop Monte Carlo simulation and stress-testing frameworks for interactive What-If scenarios.
- Build anomaly detection and diagnostic models for planned, forecasted, and actual KPI variance.
- Refactor prototype code into scalable production services.
- Deploy and containerize models, orchestrate pipelines, and monitor feature and model drift.
- Partner with corporate finance teams on interpretable insights and strategic dashboards.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, Python, and MLOps.
- Experience with financial, economic, or operational planning data is highly relevant.
