What You'll Be Doing
conduct comprehensive property surveys for heating installation projects - Air Source Heat Pumps.
produce accurate heating system designs and specifications - Air Source Heat Pumps.
assess installation risks, site constraints, and regulatory requirements.
support installations involving gas, oil, electric, renewable, and low-carbon heating technologies.
work closely with installation teams, subcontractors, and operational colleagues to ensure designs are practical and compliant.
provide technical guidance and resolve issues during project delivery.
support quality assurance activities and help maintain high installation standards.
ensure customers receive safe, efficient, and cost-effective heating solutions that meet their needs.
Essential Skills & Experience
- strong technical knowledge of domestic heating systems and installation practices - Air Source Heat Pumps
- experience conducting property surveys and producing heating system designs
- ability to identify appropriate heating solutions across a range of fuel types and technologies.
- experience assessing installation risks, compliance requirements, and site-specific challenges.
- excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers, contractors, and colleagues.
- strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications
- You will ideally hold:
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing & Heating.
- Low Temperature Design qualification.
- ACS qualifications including CCN1 and CENWAT (or equivalent).
- Additional qualifications in renewable, oil, or other heating technologies would be advantageous.
