Position Overview
Provide face-to-face academic support and guidance to Lower School students attending the iCademy Learning Hub.
Support student understanding, engagement, organization, and progress across English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
The role provides targeted support and clarification aligned with teacher expectations but does not replace the classroom teacher or deliver the curriculum.
Student Support and Progress
- Provide individual and small-group academic support and reinforce teacher instruction.
- Guide students through daily activities, assignments, projects, and assessments.
- Support foundational literacy, numeracy, critical thinking, independence, accountability, and confidence.
- Monitor attendance, engagement, assignment completion, progress, and interventions.
- Identify students falling behind and provide timely intervention and follow-up.
Engagement and Personalized Support
- Build positive relationships and encourage participation in learning activities and school programs.
- Foster resilience, motivation, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
