  • Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Principal Systems Engineer – Integration Lead to join our team within the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities (SETC) Discipline, supporting the LTAMDS Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) program. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead system integration activities across the full product lifecycle—from concept development through integration, verification, and deployment.

What You Will Do:

  • As the LRIP Integration Lead, you will support the following types of activities:
  • Leading, operating and testing a LTAMDS Radar at a test site.
  • Responsible for coordinating and guiding the technical integration of hardware, software, and system elements to ensure the overall radar system performs as intended.
  • Lead Testing Efforts: Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
  • Troubleshoot and Analyze: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
  • You will work closely with cross-disciplinary engineering teams—including systems, software, hardware, test, and program leadership—to plan, execute, and oversee integration activities, resolve complex technical challenges, and ensure seamless interoperability between subsystems.
  • Integrate Systems: Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
  • Define and manage integration strategies, interfaces, and verification approaches while supporting system-level troubleshooting, data analysis, and performance validation.
  • Document and Communicate: Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and effectively communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Present Findings: Present technical findings and solutions to leadership and customers.
  • Support Missions: Travel as needed (up to 20%) to support mission execution at various locations including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor facilities, and customer locations.
  • This role is primarily based out of Pelham, NH with travel between Tewksbury, MA; Andover, MA and Portsmouth, RI.
  • Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior engineering experience.
  • Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.
  • Experience leading a team of engineers with varying levels of expertise
  • Experience in presenting technical findings and integration status to program leadership and stakeholders.
  • Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience leading system integration activities across hardware, software, and subsystem components in a large-scale system.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-disciplinary engineering teams (systems, software, hardware, integration & test) to resolve technical issues and drive integration progress
  • Familiarity with LTAMDS system architecture, interface definition, and requirements management for complex engineered systems.
