Role Overview
Manage logistics, warehouse operations, and site coordination for construction or utilities projects.
Ensure accurate material tracking, handling, availability, documentation, and compliance with project specifications.
Material Control and Inventory
- Supervise receipt, storage, issuance, and documentation of project materials.
- Maintain inventory records in ERP or stock management systems.
- Conduct stock checks, reconcile discrepancies, and maintain material traceability.
Warehouse and Yard Management
- Oversee warehouse and laydown areas for organization, safety, and company-standard compliance.
- Ensure materials are safely stored, correctly labeled, and protected from damage or environmental impact.
- Monitor material-handling equipment and coordinate maintenance.
Planning and Coordination
- Forecast material requirements based on construction schedules and project needs.
- Coordinate with procurement, site engineers, and subcontractors for timely material availability.
- Review delivery schedules and expedite urgent requirements.
