Role Overview
The Logistics Specialist supports the efficient flow of materials and products across inbound, warehouse, and outbound operations.
The role focuses on timely deliveries, inventory accuracy, cost control, regulatory compliance, and service and quality standards.
The position collaborates with warehouses, suppliers, Quality teams, and internal stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound shipments to ensure timely receipt of materials.
- Plan and monitor outbound shipments to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Work with warehouse teams to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Track logistics expenses and organize documentation for audits and reporting.
- Monitor supplier performance and escalate service issues when needed.
- Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
- Partner with Quality teams on warehouse audits and inspections.
- Prepare compliance reports and maintain product quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to customs, regulatory, HSQE, and internal requirements.
Candidate Profile
- Manage multiple logistics activities accurately while meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate strong data analysis, reporting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Apply planning, organization, communication, time management, and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrate negotiation, supplier management, leadership, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination.
- Identify risks and improvement opportunities while balancing cost, quality, service, compliance, and delivery requirements.
