One of our flagship contracts is with the Ministry of Defence at a major base near Watford – a complex, high-profile environment where we provide a full range of hard, soft, and technical FM services.
• We currently have a great opportunity to join our Logistics Department for a Logistics Operative, to assist in the delivery of a stores service on site - which includes Stores, Mail & Scanning and Site Services ) .
• As the Logistics Operative, you will:
• Receive issue and deliver items of stores in a courteous and professional manner.
• Receive and sort all external mail
• Deliver all external and internal mail to internal postal points.
• Provide EOD Scanning Services in support of all departmental work groups.
• Ensure all mail and private parcels are handled in accordance with the relevant regulations.
• Account for items of stores on the MOD MJDI system.
• Carry out filing of all auditable documentation as directed by the Line Manager.
• We are looking for:
• A good sound knowledge of Stores/Mail accounting procedures.
• Proven record of good customer service
• Good Health & Safety knowledge and attention to detail.
• Driving Experience. Cat B Licence (Desirable).
• Forklift Licence (Desirable)
