Role overview

The Logistics Operations Analyst supports logistics operations and inventory performance across Northern Europe.

The role is part of the European Inventory and Operations Excellence team and reports to the Associate Manager for Inventory and Operations Excellence.

The position combines UK and Scandinavia market support with participation in centralized European logistics processes and improvement initiatives.

Scope and objectives

  • Connect local operational needs with regional priorities and support scalable European ways of working.
  • Improve visibility and control over regional logistics performance through data-driven insights, cost efficiency, and service excellence.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and third-party logistics providers on service targets and budget expectations.

Core responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain logistics reports and dashboards using Power Query, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Maintain end-to-end inventory accuracy, quality control, compliance, expiration, obsolescence, returns, and seasonal stock controls.
  • Escalate logistics and quality issues and lead data analysis for KPIs, performance metrics, and budget adherence.
  • Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, and cost-effective logistics solutions.
  • Manage 3PL partnerships and transport-vendor performance reviews against service, cost, and compliance targets.
  • Oversee warehouse capacity planning and risk mitigation.
  • Support regional network optimization and digital transformation projects.

Experience and qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain operations, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Fluency in English and proficiency in Excel are required.
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across Europe and openness to an international career path are required.
  • Additional European language knowledge, including French, German, Polish, or Italian, is advantageous.

Workplace and eligibility

  • The role is eligible for remote working one day per week.
  • International relocation and visa sponsorship are not supported.
  • Applicants must have the ongoing right to work in the UK for the duration of employment.

Employment details

  • The contract is permanent and the role is full time.
  • The role is located in Frimley, Surrey.
  • The position offers flexible starting and finishing times and a 4.5-day working week.
