Logistics Manager

Financial and Contract Management

• Lead or support strategic 3PL contract negotiations and coordinate local tenders.
• Source external partners and manage specific price requests for road, air, and sea freight.
• Maintain ERP accruals, TMS rates, and automatic charges.
• Control logistics spend, reconcile monthly costs, and code provider invoices in D365.

Day-to-Day Operations Support

• Support transportation, warehousing, storage, repacking, and blending operations against applicable requirements.
• Manage logistics claims, including root cause, corrective actions, insurance escalation, and damage payment collection.
• Manage freight price requests and obtain monthly fuel surcharge updates from forwarders.
• Maintain EDI connections, resolve blocked messages, and reconcile inventory movements.

Compliance and Sustainability

• Ensure compliance with QA, SHE, procedures, and work instructions.
• Support risk assessments covering stock, waste, quality agreements, and legislative changes.
• Review and help close daily non-conformances with internal teams and logistics providers.
• Translate the Group sustainability strategy into job-related actions and sustainability KPIs.

Process Optimization

• Provide feedback to BPOs and key users and help develop process expertise and best practices.
• Drive continuous improvement that balances logistics cost, quality, and lead time.
• Provide cover for the Logistics team as required.

Experience and Skills

• Operational logistics or supply chain experience is required.
• Advanced transportation, warehousing, and inventory management knowledge is required.
• Customer focus, results orientation, execution discipline, communication skills, and attention to detail are required.
• Systems proficiency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are required.
• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, is required.
