1. Shipment Planning & Execution
Plan and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
Ensure timely movement of commodities from suppliers to buyers.
Monitor shipment schedules and proactively address delays.
Coordinate vessel, container, rail, road, and warehouse operations.
2. Freight & Transportation Management
Negotiate freight rates with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and transport providers.
Optimize transportation costs while maintaining service quality.
Arrange bookings for vessels, containers, and inland transportation.
Track freight costs and prepare logistics cost reports.
3. Supply Chain Coordination
Liaise with:
Traders
Suppliers
Buyers
Warehouses
Shipping lines
Inspection agencies
Banks (for trade documentation)
Ensure smooth coordination between all stakeholders.
4. Inventory & Warehouse Management
Monitor warehouse inventory levels.
Coordinate storage, handling, and dispatch of commodities.
Ensure proper stock reconciliation.
