Logistics Coordinator (Sharjah, UAE)

Job Purpose

Logistics Operations

• Handle import, export, cross-trade, courier, and local deliveries of aircraft parts and consumables.
• Support routine, urgent, and Aircraft on Ground shipments.
• Track shipments and follow up with freight forwarders, couriers, and internal teams.
• Coordinate shipment execution according to operational priorities and supervisor instructions.

Documentation and Records

• Ensure logistics documents are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.
• Maintain shipment records, logs, and trackers.
• Assist with commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, and import or export documentation.

Compliance

• Follow company procedures, safety standards, aviation regulations, customs regulations, and carrier requirements.
• Coordinate documentation with freight forwarders to support customs clearance.
• Report discrepancies, shipment damage, and non-compliance issues to the Logistics Supervisor.

Coordination and Systems

• Liaise with internal departments and external freight, transport, airline, carrier, NVOCC, and warehouse stakeholders.
• Update shipment status in logistics systems and tracking tools.
• Support data entry, reporting, performance tracking, audits, inspections, and compliance checks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in logistics, supply chain, aviation, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes.
• Two to three years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, supply chain, or air cargo.
• Understanding of air cargo operations is preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics or ERP systems.
• Fluent English language proficiency.
• Willingness to work shifts or extended hours based on operational needs.
