Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales, fleet, procurement, and HR departments to coordinate logistics activities
- Schedule and assign trucks and drivers to specific routes and tasks
- Monitor and track the movement of trucks to ensure on time deliveries
- Address any operational issues or delays in real time and take corrective actions
- Achieve a minimum of 95% on time delivery rate
- Minimize downtime due to unscheduled maintenance or repairs
- Reduce fuel consumption through efficient route planning
- Ensure that vehicles are loaded to maximum capacity
- Communicate with drivers, sales teams, fleet, and other departments on logistics related activities
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any business related discipline
- 1 3 years of proven work experience in managing company fleets, route planning and logistics coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software and tools, SAP experience is preferred
- Hands on experience on driver and fleet monitoring and RTA portals
- Sound knowledge about technical and vehicle registrations in UAE

Job Objective
- The Logistics Coordinator/Planner plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the logistics function.
- This role is responsible for coordinating and planning daily logistics activities to meet delivery schedules, minimize downtime, and optimize resource utilization.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any business related discipline
- 1 3 years of proven work experience in managing company fleets, route planning and logistics coordination
- Proficiency in logistics software and tool, SAP experience is preferred
- Hands on experience on driver and fleet monitoring and RTA portals
- Sound knowledge about technical and vehicle registrations in UAE
Duties and Responsibilities

- Respond to operational issues that will achieve zero stoppage of route operation
- Minimize downtime due to unscheduled maintenance or repairs
- Reduce fuel consumption as per mandated by GM/Finance through efficient route planning
- Ensure that vehicles are loaded to maximum capacity by achieving the standard van capacity
- Communicate with drivers, sales teams, fleet, and other relevant departments to provide updates
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on logistics performance
