Role Overview
The Logistics Coordinator role is based in Qatar within the logistics and freight-forwarding industry.
The role coordinates cargo operations from origin through final delivery.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate air, sea, and ship cargo operations from origin to final delivery.
- Handle import/export documentation, customs clearance, shipping documents, and cargo tracking.
- Coordinate with shipping lines, airlines, freight forwarders, customs, transporters, and clients.
- Monitor shipments and delivery schedules.
- Resolve logistics issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar customs and local logistics regulations.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and prepare logistics reports.
Requirements
- Five to six years of relevant experience in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Strong experience in air cargo, sea cargo, and ship cargo.
- Qatar local logistics experience is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of Qatar customs and local logistics procedures.
- Good communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
- A Qatar driving license is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is QAR 4,000 to QAR 7,000 per month.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
