About the Role
Maxell International LLC is hiring a Logistics Coordinator to manage procurement, expediting, and international shipments for oil and gas operations. The role requires coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents, handling heavy cargo, and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities
- Procurement and expediting of materials/spares for rigs, projects, and operations
- Coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and internal teams
- Handling RFQs, quotation evaluations, price negotiations, and purchase approvals
- Managing international shipments under various Incoterms (DAP, DDP, CFR, FOB, etc.)
- Coordinating FCL/LCL shipments, air freight, road transportation, and heavy cargo movements
- Tracking purchase orders and ensuring timely delivery of materials to rigs and project locations
- Reviewing and coordinating shipping documents including CIPL, AWB/BL, COO, and customs clearance documents
- Managing urgent operational requirements and expediting critical spare parts
- Handling heavy and oversized cargo including drill pipes, reels, containers, and industrial equipment
- Supporting logistics operations across international locations including Nigeria, Angola, UAE, China, UK, and other regions
- Maintaining weekly logistics reports and providing regular status updates to management
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, expediting, and logistics
- Experience working in Oil & Gas, Marine, Energy, or Industrial sectors preferred
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes and Incoterms
- Experience handling urgent operational requirements
- Strong follow up and expediting skills
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to work under pressure

- Good understanding of ERP systems, Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, reporting), and purchase order management systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, expediting, and logistics.
- Experience working in Oil & Gas, Marine, Energy, or Industrial sectors preferred.
- Strong understanding of international shipping processes and Incoterms.
- Experience handling urgent operational requirements.
