Role Description
The Logistics Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The position supports daily logistics operations, shipment coordination, delivery tracking, inventory updates, purchasing, and warehouse activities.
Core Responsibilities
- Coordinate shipments and track deliveries.
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods.
- Assist with inventory updates and prepare purchase orders.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams.
- Ensure materials move in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Help resolve delivery issues and respond to customer or stakeholder inquiries.
- Follow company procedures to support warehouse and supply chain activities.
Qualifications
- Strong logistics management skills, including shipment coordination and basic supply chain knowledge.
- Inventory management and organizational skills for accurate stock records and documentation.
- Customer service skills for handling inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating with stakeholders.
- Purchasing skills for order placement, supplier follow-up, and procurement tracking.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related field is beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or inventory systems is preferred.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment are preferred.
- Previous logistics, warehouse coordination, or supply chain support experience in the UAE or GCC region is an advantage.
Mandatory Qualification
- B-com graduation is mandatory.
- Freshers can apply.
Salary
- The listed salary is 2.5k; no compensation cadence or currency is provided.
