Logistics Analyst

Vendor Relationships: Manage day-to-day operational relationships with third-party warehouses.

Carrier Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new carriers and 3rd party warehouses, including maintaining the approved carrier list and collecting Certificates of Insurance (COIs).

Performance Metrics: Build and maintain carrier scorecards to track on-time delivery, capacity, and service compliance.

Warehouse & Transloader KPIs: Monitor operational metrics for 3 rd party warehouses and transloaders, including turn-around times, cross-dock efficiency, container demurrage, and cargo accuracy.

Routing Strategy: Propose cost-effective routing, transloading options, and consolidation strategies while factoring in specialized product needs like load temperature.

Process Improvement: Identify network bottlenecks and recommend strategic enhancements to optimize the supply chain.

Sales Returns: Coordinate the execution of sales returns across multiple internal departments.

Policy Management: Maintain and enforce company policies regarding tank cleaning.

The Logistics Specialist reports to the Supply Chain Director and manages the Transportation Management System platform (3GTMS) and Tableau for Coim USA. This role ensures data integrity of 3GTMS, reporting accuracy and metrics generations for proper decision making. It is also responsible for routing strategies, projects, plans and efficiency/cost savings within our Logistics structure. Commercial management of 3 rd party warehouses is within the scope as well.
