Role Overview
Manage and coordinate the movement, transportation, loading, unloading, mobilization and project cargo activities for marine and heavy equipment operations.
Coordinate with project, marine, equipment, procurement, transport, vessel and site teams to support safe, timely and cost-effective logistics.
Logistics Operations
- Plan and supervise daily logistics activities for marine projects, heavy equipment, machinery, vessels, barges and project materials.
- Coordinate mobilization and demobilization of barges, boats, excavators, cranes, loaders, generators, pumps and other heavy equipment.
- Arrange transportation of heavy and oversized equipment to and from project sites, ports, yards and marine locations.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, lifting, shifting and transportation of heavy equipment and project cargo.
- Liaise with transport companies, crane operators, vessel and barge teams, ports, customs, suppliers and subcontractors.
Planning and Documentation
- Prepare logistics schedules, delivery plans, mobilization plans and equipment movement schedules.
- Arrange transport permits, port documentation, customs clearance, shipping documents and delivery documents.
- Monitor equipment availability, transportation status, delivery schedules and site requirements.
