Overview
- Manage and stabilize critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit, providing comprehensive care and making critical decisions under pressure.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, including arterial blood gas analysis, to guide treatment strategies and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Initiate and manage mechanical ventilation, adjusting settings and troubleshooting issues to support respiratory function.
