- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site Litigation Lawyer role based in Doha, Qatar.
- The Litigation Lawyer will handle all stages of litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings, preparing memoranda, and filing submissions with the courts.
- The role includes representing clients before courts and tribunals, attending hearings, managing case files, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- The lawyer will provide clear, practical legal advice on disputes, assess legal risks, and develop case strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Daily responsibilities also include negotiating settlements where appropriate, maintaining accurate documentation, and staying current with applicable laws and regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Law, including civil and commercial law, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant legislation and regulations.
- Proven experience handling Legal Issues in contentious matters, including case analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning.
- Demonstrated ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice to clients, both in writing and verbally, in complex dispute contexts.
- Hands on experience appearing before Courts, including drafting court documents, attending hearings, and managing litigation procedures.
- Effective Negotiation skills, with a track record of handling settlements and client representations in dispute resolution settings.
- Law degree from an accredited institution; admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction, with eligibility to work in Doha, Qatar.
- Excellent legal drafting, research, and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple cases under time pressure, work collaboratively in a team, and maintain high ethical and confidentiality standards.
