About the Role

Responsibilities
- Manage complex litigation files from initial assessment through final resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, and prepare case strategies
- Represent clients before courts and other adjudicatory bodies, attend hearings, manage evidence, and coordinate with external experts
- Provide practical legal advice on contentious matters, assess legal risks, and advise clients and internal teams on dispute avoidance and dispute resolution strategies
- Supervise junior lawyers, review their work, contribute to legal research and publications
- Support business development through client presentations and participation in firm initiatives
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of Law with substantial experience in civil and commercial litigation
- Proven ability to analyze complex Legal Issues and craft clear, solutions focused guidance
- Demonstrated experience providing high quality Legal Advice to clients in contentious and pre contentious matters
- Extensive experience appearing before Courts or other tribunals, including drafting pleadings, submissions, and managing hearings
- Advanced Negotiation skills, including settlement discussions, mediation participation, and client representation in complex disputes
- Accredited law degree and admission to practice in a relevant jurisdiction
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly advantageous
- Experience mentoring and supervising junior lawyers, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style
- High level of professional integrity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters under time pressure
- Prior experience in a reputable law firm or in house litigation role, preferably with regional or cross border exposure

Role Description
