Role Overview
HCLTech is seeking experienced L3 Linux Infrastructure Engineers to support and enhance its compute environment.
The roles support reliability, security, and automation across the technology stack and contribute to research, teaching, and learning services.
Engineers will operate compute infrastructure services and collaborate with Infrastructure Engineering teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable services.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily operations of compute infrastructure services.
- Support and enhance the compute environment with emphasis on security, DevOps practices, automation, process compliance, and collaboration.
- Work with Infrastructure Engineering teams to deliver stable, secure, and scalable compute services.
Candidate Profile
- Candidates need 8–10 years of hands-on Linux systems administration experience with RHEL and Ubuntu.
- Solid understanding of VMware virtualization, AWS, Azure, GCP, container platforms, networking, storage, and backup concepts is required.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Ansible, Python, Terraform, and Jenkins is required.
- Familiarity with LAMP stack components and application-level troubleshooting is required.
