Overview
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL,Ubuntu etc) in physical, virtual, and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware/KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, Patching ,Hardening and remediation in coordination with cybersecurity teams
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware/software issues.
- Perform advanced kernel tuning, performance optimization, and capacity planning.
- Automate routine tasks using shell scripting , Ansible or any other automation tool
- Collaborate with application, database, and network teams to support business-critical systems.
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews for critical system outages.
- Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support as part of a rotation schedule.
