Lineman Operator

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification in equipment operation or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment in an electrical utility, construction, or similar industry.
• Proficiency in operating specialized equipment such as bucket trucks, digger derricks, tensioning machines, and cranes safely and efficiently.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment operation, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and fall protection devices.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively with coworkers, and provide updates on job status and equipment performance.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to obtain a commercial driver's license (CDL) if required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and environments, including remote locations and rugged terrain.
• Holds a Journeyman Electrical Distribution Systems License, including Transmission Lines (EL-1J).

• This role is situated within an outdoor environment and regularly will be conducted in various weather conditions.
• This is a full-time position with working hours scheduled during various hours.

While executing job responsibilities, the employee will be required to engage in long periods of standing, walking, sitting, manual manipulation of objects, tools, or controls, reaching, climbing stairs, and verbal communication.

Additionally, the employee may occasionally need to lift or move office products and supplies weighing up to 100 pounds.
