Role Overview
AECOM is seeking a Lighting and AV Engineer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The role designs, installs, configures, operates, and maintains lighting and audio-visual systems for events, venues, and facilities.
The engineer works with clients, production teams, and vendors to deliver reliable technical experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement lighting and AV solutions tailored to client specifications and venue requirements.
- Install, configure, and test lighting fixtures, projectors, screens, audio systems, and related equipment.
- Operate lighting consoles, audio mixers, and control systems during events and productions.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform preventive maintenance on AV and lighting equipment.
- Collaborate with event planners, production managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Create technical drawings and system designs using CAD and AV design software.
- Ensure installations comply with safety regulations, electrical codes, and industry standards.
- Coordinate equipment sourcing and inventory with vendors and suppliers.
- Provide technical support during setup and execution.
- Document configurations, equipment specifications, and maintenance records.
- Keep current with emerging lighting and AV technologies and best practices.
