Roles & Responsibilities – Light Vehicle Driver
- Safely operate light vehicles to transport staff, materials, and documents as assigned
- Follow all UAE traffic laws, company policies, and site safety regulations at all times
- Ensure timely pickup and drop-off of personnel as per project schedules
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is in good working condition
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections (fuel, oil, tires, brakes, etc.) and report any defects immediately
- Keep accurate records of trips, mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle logs
- Coordinate with supervisors for daily transport requirements and route planning
- Adhere to site-specific rules and regulations, including restricted area protocols (CICPA applicable)
- Assist in loading/unloading of materials when required
- Ensure proper use of PPE and follow HSE guidelines during all operations
- Report any accidents, delays, or incidents promptly to the supervisor
- Support emergency transport requirements when needed
