Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to internal and external customers across product lifecycle
- Perform disposition of Quality Notifications and rework/refurbishment activities
- Create procedures and work instructions for mobilization, maintenance, and repair
- Prepare engineering calculations and documentation for design reviews
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SITs)
- Lead design staff on a project basis and manage priorities
- Provide support in HSEQ activities, RCAs, HAZOPs, and Risk Assessments
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelor Degree
- 3 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry as an Engineer working with Surface equipment
- Knowledge of drilling operations related to Surface wellhead equipment
- Familiar with API 6A, API 17D, NACE MR0175
- Proficiency in CAD (Unigraphics/NX), Mathcad, TCE, SAP, MS Office
- Ability to perform high level engineering calculations
- Able to conduct Root Cause Analysis
- Highly self motivated with good communication skills

Job Purpose
- Provides technical support to internal and external customers across product lifecycle from manufacturing to installation and after sales service.
- Researches, plans, coordinates and proposes original designs of mechanical products and systems.
- Performs original design and layout work on CAD equipment.
Job Description
- Performs as technical point of contact for internal and external customers.
- Performs accurate disposition of Quality Notifications and rework/refurbishment activity.
- Creates procedures and work instructions for mobilization, demobilization, maintenance, refurbishment, and repair.
- Creates, checks, and reviews Engineering documentation through the ECN process.
- Prepares engineering calculations for design reviews.
- Prepares and presents complex ideas and design concepts for technical discussions.
- Participates in discussions with clients to understand needs and troubleshoot.
- Prepares, plans and participates in System Integration Testing (SITs).
- Applies analytical and problem solving skills for real time technical support.
- Leads design staff on a project basis and manages priorities.
- Provides link to other service hubs to transfer knowledge and best practices.
- Provides support in local HSEQ activities, RCAs, HAZOPs, and Risk Assessments.
You Are Meant For This Job If
- Mechanical Engineering Bachelor Degree.
- Preferred 3 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry as an Engineer working with Surface equipment.
- Knowledge of drilling operations related to Surface wellhead equipment.
- Familiar with API 6A, API 17D, NACE MR0175.
- Knowledge of design, manufacturing, and refurbishment processes.
- Highly self motivated with good communication skills.
- Able to contribute in technical discussions.
- Able to guide and support others within the engineering team.
- Ability to perform high level engineering calculations.
- Experienced in CAD (Unigraphics/NX), Mathcad, TCE, SAP and MS Office.
- Able to conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
