KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effective troubleshooting and repair of all equipment
- Respond to equipment breakdown calls.
- Highly safety conscious with basic knowledge of cutting, welding and fabrication
- Provide recommendations for continual improvements and maximize efficiencies.
- Maintain a safe work environment, complying with the Company's Health & Safety guidelines.
- Have experience in mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs.
- Experienced in completing preventive maintenance scheduled repairs and completing repair orders.
- Basic computers skills and ability to refer to manuals for spare parts and diagnostics.
- Must be able operate heavy duty service vehicle.
- Must be willing and able to work both indoors and outdoors.
- Must be available to work occasional evenings & weekends.
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Other duties assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/TECHNICIAL KNOWLEDGE
- Candidates must have their Heavy Equipment Mechanic License. Proof of Provincial license is required from Truck and coach (310T)
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple daily assignments with minimal supervision.
