Rogers Group is currently seeking a Blaster to conduct the daily blasting operations at our Gallatin Quarry and Underground Mine in Gallatin, TN.

The candidate will be responsible for the daily loading, transportation, storage and security of all aspects of the underground mine blasting process.

• Full Time
• Day Shift

• Wages start at $35.00/hr based on experience
• Overtime available and extensive medical and retirement benefits

• The candidate will be responsible for the daily loading, transportation, storage and security of all aspects of the underground mine blasting process.
• The person will also be responsible for keeping and maintaining the daily and monthly blasting reports for all explosive materials.
• They will also be required to assist in mine management of the drilling and shot layout process to include shot timing and fragmentation analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to safely perform all essential functions of this position
• Two (2) years minimum of blasting experience in a quarry or mining environment
• Two (2) years of underground mining experience preferred
• Proven safe work record with belief and value seen in courageous leadership model
• Good attendance record
• Ability to be an integral team member in a growing, fast-paced environment
• Proven record with full cycle mining including, but not limited to drilling, blasting, haulage and ground support
• Candidate must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
