About the role
The Legal Counsel will provide commercially focused legal support across contracts, corporate matters, governance, intellectual property, and regulatory issues.
The role supports the Senior Legal Director and advises management and internal teams to help minimize legal risk.
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements and advise internal teams on them.
- Provide ad hoc legal advice and support on company policies and complex legal issues.
- Research laws and regulations, summarize findings, and monitor legislation affecting the company.
- Prepare legal templates and manage Legal Department databases.
- Assist with company formations and company secretarial duties.
- Liaise with external counsel, including on occasional contentious matters.
- Support and occasionally substitute for the Senior Legal Director and other team members.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and health, safety, and environmental procedures.
