- Working knowledge of data protection, intellectual property, and export control
- Strong stakeholder management and cross cultural communication skills

Experience
- Seeking a common law qualified junior in house lawyer (3 to 5 PQE) with a strong technical foundation from a TMT practice group.
- Previous experience drafting framework services agreements, software licenses, partnership agreements, consulting agreements, and cloud services is required.
- A keen interest in technology and innovation, with advice on data privacy, IP, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, AI, and emerging technologies is a plus.
Key Technical Skills Required
- Contract drafting and review: ability to review, mark up and draft common commercial agreements with attention to risk and business context.
- Regulatory and compliance basics: working knowledge of core regulatory areas (e.g., data protection, intellectual property, export control).
- Legal research and issue spotting: strong fundamentals in research and identifying key legal issues efficiently.
Key Soft Skills Required
- Stakeholder management: professional, responsive, and able to build trust with clients and peers.
- Cross cultural communication skills: ability to explain legal risks and recommendations in plain, commercial language.
- Growth mindset: open to feedback, continuous learning, and proactive in taking responsibility for tasks.
