Job Purpose

  • The Legal & Compliance Manager will support the Group’s legal, governance and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring that business operations, commercial transactions and corporate practices are conducted in line with applicable laws, internal policies and regulatory requireme

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including EPC contracts, service agreements, joint ventures, and supplier contracts
  • Provide legal advice on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and business expansions
  • Ensure compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions (GCC, Europe and APAC)
  • Identify legal risks and provide practical, business oriented solutions to mitigate exposure
  • Manage and coordinate with external law firms on complex legal issues, litigation, and arbitration matters
  • Assist in dispute resolution, including handling claims, negotiations, and settlement strategies
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the business
  • Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions, shareholder matters, and statutory filings
  • Compliance requirements for 12 entities in different jurisdictions (Annual filings, license renewals, changes in Directors etc.)
  • Conduct compliance audits and investigations in a structured manner

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and professional qualification in Secretarial practices
  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience (Corporate law, Commercial law, Contract law and Compliance) preferably in engineering, EPC, industrial services, maritime or energy related environments
  • Exposure to corporate governance and regional compliance frameworks across GCC jurisdictions is a must
  • Proven track record in contract negotiation, corporate advisory, and compliance
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to provide clear, concise, and practical legal advice
  • Strong understanding of risk management and corporate governance
  • Knowledge of anti bribery, anti corruption, and corporate governance practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to deliver compliance training and awareness programs
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information
