The role supports the Group’s legal, governance and compliance activities across multiple jurisdictions.
It provides practical legal support across corporate, commercial and compliance matters while contributing to risk management and corporate governance.
Corporate and commercial legal support
- Draft, review and negotiate EPC contracts, service agreements, joint ventures and supplier contracts.
- Advise on corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions and business expansions.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations and industry standards across GCC, Europe and APAC jurisdictions.
- Identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions to mitigate exposure.
- Coordinate with external law firms on complex legal issues, litigation and arbitration.
- Assist with claims, negotiations, settlement strategies and other dispute resolution matters.
- Develop legal policies, procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Conduct legal research and monitor changes in laws and regulations.
Governance and compliance
- Support board resolutions, shareholder matters and statutory filings.
- Manage annual filings, license renewals and director changes for 12 entities in different jurisdictions.
- Coordinate with teams across the globe on compliance requirements.
- Handle UBO compliance and provide restricted secretarial support for bank mandates.
- Conduct vendor and commission-agent due diligence.
- Support document attestation and compliance-related audits.
- Conduct compliance audits and investigations in a structured manner.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and professional qualification in secretarial practices.
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in corporate law, commercial law, contract law and compliance.
- Experience in engineering, EPC, industrial services, maritime or energy-related environments is preferred.
- Exposure to corporate governance and regional compliance frameworks across GCC jurisdictions is required.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills are required.
- Knowledge of anti-bribery, anti-corruption and corporate governance practices is required.
- The role requires the ability to deliver compliance training and manage confidential information.
