Lead and grow the Percussion program across the Bachelor of Music, contributing to curriculum development, student recruitment, performance activities and an outstanding student learning experience.
Deliver high-quality teaching in percussion and Aural Skills at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including one-to-one tuition, ensemble direction and supervision of student research and creative projects.
Develop and maintain an active profile in research and/or creative practice through performances, publications, recordings, collaborative projects and competitive research funding opportunities.
A doctorate in music, percussion or a closely related discipline, or equivalent professional standing relevant to the field.
Demonstrated excellence in contemporary percussion performance, with the ability to teach individual students from undergraduate to postgraduate level and lead percussion ensembles.
Experience delivering innovative and inclusive teaching, including curriculum development, assessment design and student-centred learning approaches in higher education.
An established or emerging record of research and/or creative activity demonstrated through high-impact performances, publications, recordings or other recognised outputs.
